About The MVA

Info & Mission

The Massachusetts Value Alliance (MVA) is a coalition of independent, high quality community hospitals working to improve the cost, efficiency and delivery of patient-centered care to the communities we serve.

Established in 2016, the MVA is modeled on the Value Care Alliance (VCA), a collaboration of health care systems in Connecticut that has successfully leveraged its collective purchasing power and expertise to reduce costs, enhance efficiencies and share best practices to improve health outcomes.

Committed to helping our members remain competitive and independent, the MVA today is comprised of 11 community hospitals representing 7 health systems, one of the largest health care enterprises in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

MVA Mission Statement

To bring together health care providers who are committed to working together in pursuit of improved health care access, quality, efficiency and affordability.
