Christine Schuster was appointed President and CEO of Emerson Hospital in 2005. Prior to that, she served as President and CEO of Quincy Medical Center, President and CEO of Athol Memorial Hospital and COO of the Extended Care Division of Tenet Saint Vincent Healthcare System in Worcester. Ms. Schuster holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Spiros Hatiras was appointed President and CEO of Holyoke Medical Center and its affiliates in 2013. Prior to the appointment he served as President and CEO of Hoboken University Medical Center in New Jersey and COO of NIT Health in New York. Mr. Hatiras holds a master’s degree in health care management from New York University and is certified in health care management by the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Robert Haffey, MBA, MSN has served as President and CEO of Signature Healthcare since November 2021. Previously he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Kent Hospital, a Care New England Health System facility in Rhode Island. Mr. Haffey holds a Masters of Science in Nursing, LaSalle University and a Masters of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration from Eastern University.

Darlene Rodowicz

Darlene Rodowicz

Berkshire Health Systems

Darlene Rodowicz was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire Health Systems in December 2021, after having served as Executive Vice President for nearly two years and as Chief Financial Officer for 15 years prior to 2020. She had served as Associate Vice President of Finance for Berkshire Health Systems from 1995 to 2005. She joined Berkshire Health Systems in 1984 as a staff accountant and has since served in a variety of positions, including Billing Supervisor of Berkshire Faculty Services and BHS Comptroller before being named to her current role.

A graduate of Western New England College with a master’s degree in Business Administration, Rodowicz also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is a member and Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, a national organization comprised of healthcare financial leaders.
